SBRG Goes Down Swinging Against Circle City 120-101

After a hard fought ebb and flow against Fishers Circle City Derby Socialites---including our EPIC 25-point power jam at the bottom of the last half!---SBRG finally falls, 120-101, in the last bout of their first season. It was an edge-of-your-seat match-up from start to finish, and to that we say congratulations, ladies. Come on home with your heads held high! Your South Bend Roller Girls close their first season with an impressive 7-2 record overall.

South Bend Shuts Down the Outfit 165-52

SBRG put another "W" in the bank last night with a monumental 165-52 win over The Chicago Outfit's Shade Brigade. Taking an early lead with bullet proof walls and unstoppable jamming, it was standing room only for the last moments of the evening as both teams forgot the board and fought to the bitter end. Much love to the scrappers from Chi-town! With this win, the Breakers wrap their season at 7 and 1, making them undefeated at home.

If you couldn't make it to the last home bout, SBRG will be heading down to Fishers, IN to take on the Circle City Derby Girls on Saturaday, May 19th. Get your tickets now, and be there to watch your South Bend Roller Girls finish out a fantastic first season.

Studebreakers K.O. the Lafayette Brawlin' Dolls 176 to 35

After squeaking out an 11 point win against an established Brawlin' Dolls last year, the South Bend Studebreakers took a commanding lead early on and kept fighting like they were behind with a final score of 176 to 35. If you couldn't make it out to this bout, clear your schedule for the final home game with the Chicago Outfit's Shade Brigade, guaranteed to be a battle.

Following the end of the home game season, SBRG will be finishing out its first season by heading down to Fishers, IN to face off against the Circle City Derby Girls.

Studebreakers Breach Fort Wayne's S.W.A.T. 147 to 76

The Studebreakers continue to make a name for themselves while on the path to being a full member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association. Facing a formidable Fort Wayne B-Team, the Studebreakers were able to gain an early lead and keep ahead for the remainder of the bout with a final score of 147 to 76. Be sure to catch the final three games of this first season before it's too late!

Studebreakers Call Off Naptown's Third Alarm 121 to 116

If you didn't attend Saturday's bout, you missed what might end up being the best game of this season! SBRG's Studebreakers were eager to show their big sister league Naptown Roller Girls what they've been doing for the last year... training hard and turning heads.

Next weekend, The Studebreakers will be heading to Fort Wayne to take on the Fort Wayne Derby Girls SWAT, their fiercely competitive B-team. If you'd like to make the short drive, tickets are still available.

G-Rap Attack Defeats Studebreakers 91 to 79

The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls G-Rap Attack narrowly defeated the South Bend Studebreakers 91 to 79 in the fourth game of the first SBRG season. While a loss is always dissapointing, the Studebreakers had an impressive showing against one of their most experienced opponents yet.

The next challenge, Heartbreaks and Beatdowns, will happen right here in South Bend with the Studebreakers getting a rematch with the Naptown Roller Girls Third Alarm. Over a year ago the Third Alarm kindly welcomed SBRG into flat track derby with a sound beating, and the Studebreakers would love to return the favor! Tickets can now be purchased in person at Orbit Music and USA Skate Center or online at Brown Paper Tickets.

Del Taco Fundraiser

Del Taco of Mishawaka has once again agreed to help us raise funds for our first competitive season. All you need to do is grab some friends and stop by Del Taco for some great fast food. Del Taco will be donating 20% of all sales made on December 1st between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, so bring lots of friends and your appetite!

After grabbing some food, head over to USA Skate Center to watch the South Bend Roller Girls scrimmage for free! This will give you an opportunity to see the girls in action while giving you a chance to buy your SBRG merchandise and tickets for the upcoming February 11th bout, Heartbreaks and Beatdowns!

Your South Bend Studebreakers bring home their third win of their first season against fellow WFTDA Apprentice League Glass City Rollers!

In two weeks SBRG will be hitting the road again to face off with the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls B-team, the G-Rap Attack! Grand Rapids isn't a far drive, so get your tickets now and be there in person to show your support.
